EUROMARKPAT's current head office was founded when the patent attorneys Otmar Dittmann and Dr Alexander von Füner joined forces in Munich in 1964.
Mr Dieter Ebbinghaus joined the team in Munich at the beginning of the 1970s. Owing to the considerable Russian expertise of Alexander von Füner and Dieter Ebbinghaus, work became increasingly focussed on industrial property protection in the former Soviet Union.
The demise of the Soviet Union from the mid-1980s led to considerable restructuring in industrial property protection in the areas concerned. The patent attorneys in Munich then faced a considerable challenge in maintaining the property rights of their clients in the independent states of the former Soviet Union.
Our office in Moscow was opened during the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1993. Over subsequent years, further EUROMARKPAT offices were opened in Tirana - Albania (1994), Kiev - Ukraine (1999), Ulaanbaatar - Mongolia (1999), Tashkent - Uzbekistan (2001), Tallinn - Estonia (2006) and Pristina - Kosovo (2008).
Today, the EUROMARKPAT Group provides its clients with a comprehensive range of services. Working in close collaboration with numerous international law firms, we offer a complete service looking after and managing your IP portfolio around the world.
