Eurasia - Increase in official fees as of February 1, 2026

Following the fee increase in February 2025, the Eurasian Patent Office is again increasing its official fees for patents as of February 1, 2026 and, after 2024, also its fees for designs.

The official fee for filing a Eurasian patent application with up to five claims will increase from RUB 60,000 to RUB 70,000. For a patent application with more than five claims, the official fee will rise from RUB 6500 to RUB 7000 for each claim from the 6th, from RUB 7000 to RUB 7500 for each claim from the 21st and from RUB 7500 to RUB 8000 for each claim from the 51st.

With respect to the examination procedure, the official examination fee for the first independent claim will increase from RUB 60,000 to RUB 70,000, the official examination fee for the second independent claim will increase from RUB 35,000 to RUB 40,000 and the official examination fee for the third and each subsequent independent claim will increase from RUB 20,000 to RUB 25,000.

The official fee for grant and publication for a patent application with up to 35 pages will rise from RUB 40,000 to RUB 45,000.
